YOUR Journey, YOUR Success!  Define YOURSELF!

Something that I have learned over the last 5 days while being surrounded by others with similar goals and passions as me is that regardless of whether we are INTO the same stuff, we still have very individual goals that can sometimes become jaded when surrounded by the masses.

It's so easy to get caught up in seeing someone else reach THEIR goals, that we lose sight of OUR goals and OUR passions!

I think this relates directly to each of us in this group as well!  Having a group like this has incredible benefits including creating a sense of community and belonging but all too often I receive messages where I can tell that people are self-reflecting and analyzing their success against the success of others in the group!  It's so important to realize that this is YOUR journey and while others may be having success or experiencing differing rates of success than you, remember that what success looks like to you may not be what it looks like to them!  For some, achieving balance with nutrition is success - eating two snacks a day is a success.  For others, ensuring they're getting the appropriate water intake is success.  For others still, getting 3 workouts in a week is success, and so on and so forth.

I URGE YOU NOT to get caught up in comparing YOUR goals and YOUR success, the speed at which you're travelling this journey, with that or those of someone else.  THIS IS YOUR JOURNEY and we are here to share and celebrate each other as we travel it.  Remember that failure creates success......its through those experiences that we find new ways to unveil success.  The most successful people have also been the biggest failures......they set out, they fell down, they got up and repeated it and continue to do so because they set goals, even ones they don't think they can reach, they step outside their comfort zone and know that they will fail but that that failure will launch them into something even greater.  Don't be afraid to fail..........

Comparison is the thief of joy......so if YOU are finding that you have this cloud hanging over you, and you're constantly feeling that you're not measuring up......I want you to take a good long hard look at YOUR FACE IN THE MIRROR and talk to yourself, out loud, about YOUR goals, and re-establish the connection with WHY you are doing this........

DO NOT GET LOST or CAUGHT UP in someone else's pursuit of what THEY define as SUCCESS!!!!!!
