I can't believe how much you've done for me and it's only been 30 some days. If it weren't for you and the team, I'd still be napping on the couch, lol.
You're only one person. I think you keep up to all the comments and questions just fine. You have a tough job but you are constantly being innovative and coming up with unique ways to reach out to everyone and keep your team motivated and engaged. Even though you may not see or feel it, you are continuously changing someone's life for the
Thank you so much for all that you sacrifice to give others their lives back! Our success is a direct result and reflection of your time and effort you invest in us. Joining your fit fam was one of the best decisions I've ever made and it's bc you inspire me better. That's pretty awesome!"
"I have argued for my limitations for over 20 years. I believed when I was told I was not athletic, it was true, so I wasn't. I believed when I was told I should just stand on the side lines and smile, I should, and so I did. I defined myself by those who did not know me. They did not know that I so badly wanted to be part of a team, to get in the game....I sat in silence for 20 years never fighting back on behalf of myself. I gained weight, I became stagnant, I became someone I did not wish to be.
Then by chance I found Alida's group and one night after a week of going back and fourth about how to accomplish my fitness goals (me making excuses, sitting in fear), she told me "Don't underestimate what you're capable of, I believe in you." That one voice from the computer screen shone a light on me and in me that I can not describe. Alida reminded me who I really was, who I could still become, who I was meant to be. Trusting her more than I trusted myself I have begun my journey. Her constant reminder that I can do it, that she believes in me has driven me far past where I have ever been before. Sidelines aren't good enough for me anymore.
I am part of a team now. Her honesty, her guidance and her drive continue to
propel me forward.
Thank you Alida, you have been my game changer. I am finally being me."

"Thanks so much Alida! I really appreciate all the support! Having you as our group leader is so inspirational. I love coming on Facebook daily to see how you will motivate us! I can't believe how many people have joined our group! It's fantastic. Thanks for everything! You have made such a change in me already. This group has been so amazing for me."
"MTFC has been an amazing opportunity for me. It allows me the support to work towards my personal weight loss goals at my own pace, in the comfort of my own home but allows me the same support and motivation of a personal trainer. Coach Alida has been nothing short of amazing along the way with her motivating quotes, helpful hints, understanding words and the ability to truly listen to us. She always makes herself available any time of day to give you those words you need to here to push past whatever obstacle you may be facing. Everyone in the group helps to push you past your comfort zone and cheer you on every step of the way. We share successes, failures, recipes, photos and you are free from judgement. I am just beginning my journey but I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this MTFC family."

"I am so thankful for where I am today all because of an amazing and powerful women who was meant to change herself and others around her. I First met Alida Steele months back when i applied for her babysitting job, even tho i was late we talked for over an hour when she got back and hit it off!! We got talking about who knows what and Shakeology came up and that I was wanting to start a workout program. She directed me to her page with no pressure:) well I got the job and I started up Insanity and away I went. I had to under go a few surgeries so it set me back but she made me determined that this is my time, my time for change!!! Every time i go there to babysit, usually every few weeks we talk, and talk, and talk until 2am rolls around and we're both zombies!! She tells me how she can see the changes and it's hard when I'm alone 24/7 because no one really gets to see that or tell me and that means more then anything; that my hard work is really paying off.
I know some of you haven't had a chance to personally meet Alida, but wow, she is an amazing, inspiring, and empowering women as you all can tell. She has the biggest heart ever and cares so much about everyone!! We connect a lot because both of our hubby's work up north and we both know what it feels like, even tho she has her little munchkins at home who I adore!! Her girls are so smart and beautiful just like their mom!!!! I love watching the girls work out with you, you are such a huge role model in their lives and to so many more.
Alida you were meant to teach and inspire so many and that is exactly what you have done. I just wanted to give a shout out to our amazing Alida who has helped me and all of us so much. Without her I know I wouldn't be able to do this because I tried in another group and it just wasn't the same. I wish you all the best in your future Alida because you have earned every single bit of it!! xoxo"
"I just wanted to give a huge shout out to my wife and coach Alida Steele. This group has come so far from just an idea. Now it's so diverse in the way that it motivates everyone and encourages change. For me, I have always trained hard and heavy. My body recently told me that it was done with that and I suffered a bad arm injury. I was down and not at all interested in exercise anymore so I took some time off. While I was unable to do anything, I did end up watching Alida day after day continue to work, train and love what she was doing. Then it hit me. "Change". I had to change the way I trained. The way I ate. So I did. Because of you babe I look forward to exercise again. Look forward to gym dates with you and being a healthy example to our girls. Your group name couldn't be more fitting. Changing the way people eat, train & the way they think about themselves is what you do. You motivate everyone to step outside their comfort zone & try something new. I am proud of you. Thanks coach!"
________________________________________________________________""My name is Anna. I have known Alida Steele since grade 5. She was this gorgeous success of girl that always had a beautiful smile on her face and kindness in her heart that spoke encouragement to everyone. Even then she inspired me and pushed me to be a better person - active, friendly and desiring more in life then I ever thought I could achieve! I was always proud to be her friend.
I, as many, have had my ups and downs in dealing with life ~ teenage issues, family hardships, young pregnancy resulting in adoption, following which I became a single mother of a perfect 9 year old girl :) but always managed to be an active and successful person... weighing never more then 134lbs, working out and eating healthy ...Until a few years ago when real tragedy hit my life and sent me to hit bottom.
I lost myself and all sight of life as I knew it. In June of this past year... I didn't want to live anymore...
My faith in Christ and the miracle of a blessed weekend retreat (which i didn't want to go to) got me through that desolate time, but I knew I still had a long way to go. I started praying for someone to come into my life that would inspire me to get back to who I am and strengthen me in my journey back to life. Little did I know it would be through an old friend.
A friend of mine told me about Alida's new life change and how great it was for her. I was curious so I creeped her on Facebook. It didn't take me long to realize that -as I looked up to her when we were younger, I needed to look up to her now. So I messaged her asking "what do I need to do."
It has only been a few weeks in the program but I am feeling stronger and better about myself already. I find the personal touch of Alida opening her life to us (as a group as well as myself) encouraging and real, and all the posts from everyone in the group inspires me throughout everyday! I love reading everyone's stories, struggles and successes and it pushes me to be a part of it - this family of greatness! I don't know everyone on a personal level but I have discovered people within the group that I once knew and I find myself reconnecting ...but I also feel like I am connecting to a future... A wonderful future full of success!!
I am never giving this up! For me it's not a journey of just losing weight and looking good, it's an emotional journey - one of looking forward, never giving up and feeling good about life. Knowing that I can succeed at even the smallest challenges makes me realize that when the big ones arise I can push through them.
"Let's let the good times roll" and "Thanks for the memories" but "I'm looking forward to the future" to "Take me higher then I've ever been before"!
People are already noticing a difference in me and it excites me!! I'm on my way back to a life that I desire and feel great in! As hard as it sometimes seems, I have the strength of a great team, the encouragement of an amazing coach and the drive of my soul - IT'S MY LIFE and MY TIME FOR CHANGE!!!!"
"I am noticing all kinds of changes! I have lost inches, I have lost lbs, I have lost many of my poor nutrition habits like late night and emotional eating (mostly), I have lost a lot of self loathing and self doubt, most importantly I have lost a lot of excuses!
I am exercising almost daily while also working hard to maintain good nutrition....for the first time in my life. I am feeling proud to be me instead of embarrassed to be me. I am feeling like I want to share what I am doing instead of hiding it in case I fail. I am feeling empowered!
This is by no means easy and I do have bad days and days where I feel lazy but they are getting less often all the time. And when I do have a bad day it doesnt ruin me. I move on the next day. For myself that is a transformation in itself! People may not be able to see the changes I am feeling (even I cant see them with my eyes) but right now that isnt even the most important part. I am building a foundation for my future where I participate in life rather than hiding in the background.
I am so happy to have Shakeology to give me the vitamins and minerals I need particularly when limiting calories. Not only that but I enjoy the taste and also the convenience. When we are eating five or six times a day having a no-brainer for one meal is awesome!
I am also so happy and grateful and excited to share this journey with like minded, fierce, real women and men who challenge and motivate and support each other like this group. It has been life changing for me. Specifically, the challenge has taken it to another level of accountability. I am not really a competitive person but for little reasons it has elevated my level of committment and I won't question it.....I will just TAKE IT!"
